Fencing
Meridian Fence specializes in farm and ranch fencing, offering durable and practical solutions for rural properties. Our fences are designed to provide security, manage livestock, and define property lines while maintaining a clean, open look. From sturdy gates to functional fencing layouts, we offer a range of customizable options to meet the unique needs of farms and ranches.
How it works
Fence type, rough length and height, the gates you need and your address. A photo or a quick sketch of the yard helps.
The fence line is measured and walked with you: corners, gates, slopes, trees and anything in the way, plus property lines and city or HOA rules.
You get a quote that spells out the materials, height, length, gates and how the posts will be set, so it's easy to compare.
Underground lines are marked through 811 before digging, then posts are set and panels, rails and gates go up. The site is cleaned up when the work is done.

“Great work by Meridian Fence! The estimate appointment was quickly scheduled, and the job was completed in a timely fashion. They put in a gate to match an existing fence and it looks perfect.”

FAQ
Wood gives a classic look and full privacy but needs staining or sealing every few years. Vinyl costs more up front and needs little more than washing. Chain link is practical and economical for large areas and pets. Aluminum works well around pools and front yards where you want to keep the view. Your goal, budget and how much upkeep you want usually decide it.
Many cities require one, especially for taller fences, corner lots and pool barriers, and most HOAs have their own approval process and style rules. Height limits are common too, with front-yard fences usually kept lower than back-yard fences. Check with your city and HOA before the project starts.
Fences usually go just inside the property line to avoid disputes. If you're not sure where the line is, your plat map or a survey shows it. If you and a neighbor want a shared fence right on the line, put the agreement in writing.
Most residential fences go up in one to three days once work starts. Posts set in concrete need time to cure before heavy gates are hung, and rocky ground, slopes or long runs can add time.
Before any digging, public utility lines are marked through 811, the national call-before-you-dig number. Private lines that 811 doesn't mark, like sprinkler pipes, buried pet fences or power to a shed, should be pointed out before posts are dug.
We build fences across Meridian, Boise, Eagle and nearby towns. If you're nearby and not sure whether you're in the area, mention your address in your request or call Meridian Fence.
